Program
development of the Anaheim Homeownership Programs to assist low and moderate
income homebuyers with the purchase of a home in a very high cost area. Program
development included:
Development
of Counseling Programs and training of Staff providing information, education,
counseling and assistance renters, homebuyers, homeowners, and those facing
mortgage default and foreclosure.
Preparation
and implementation of outreach program to the community including monthly
homebuyer education classes, counseling appointments and a Homebuyers Fair
attended by over 800 people.
Securing
additional funding resources for the agency, including assistance to homebuyers,
totaling nearly $5.3 million from Federal, State and Private sources.
Coordination
with private developers and the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency on financing for
affordable and moderate priced homeownership units within mixed income/market
rate new home construction projects.
Development
of Anaheim homebuyer education classes, providing high quality information,
knowledge and skills to over 300 homebuyers.

Coordinated
the planning, financing and construction of housing projects funded under
federal, state and local governmental programs, including federal tax-credit
projects, and private financing including document preparation as well as
budgets and pro-formas, relying on computer-based skills to initiate and close
projects. Duties included:

with funding entities, attorneys and tax credit consultants, contractors,
architects and engineers;

and one hundred forty-five multi-family housing units;
